Review by hotel critic
As a family who cherishes the outdoors, we found the stunning scenery complemented our extensive game drives. Our guide was knowledgeable and approachable, and we were lucky to spot the Big Five. The lodge's housekeepers maintained clean, fresh rooms and the welcome drink was a nice touch. The food was abundant and flavorful - kudos to the chefs for consistently impressive meals. While it might seem a splurge, you get exceptional service and experiences that are hard to match elsewhere. The lodge's emphasis on comfort with amenities like free Wi-Fi and a restful lounge area made our downtime enjoyable. For those looking to indulge while keeping an eye on costs, Lions Valley Lodge is a smart choice.
